We designed and commissioned our first Sponge Iron plant of capacity 10,000 TPA near Hyderabad in 1995 and achieved rated production capacity from the first year onwards.

We are always working towards further improvement of our designs and implementation technics to achieve more viability, low investment and less implementation time with most modern operation systems.

We have provided engineering and consultancy services for more than 500 Sponge Iron Kilns of different modules / capacities ranging from 15,000 TPA to 100,000 TPA.

Popuri Engineering has played a vital role in achieving No. 1 position for INDIA in the world in DRI production.

We have provided engineering and consultancy services for more than 13.5 mTPA DRI production capacity plants in India (Which is more than 50% of India’s total DRI production capacity) and additional 1.4 mTPA plants are under execution.

We have proficiency in converting cement kilns for Sponge Iron production.

All the plants designed by us have achieved / exceeded their rated production capacity from their first year of operation itself.
